29th April,2024, Mumbai: Bollywood is renowned for its action and romance, and without a formidable antagonist, what kind of story is it? It’s even more thrilling to despise and admire the villain if they have jaw-dropping good looks. Although it’s not everyone’s cup of tea to make their film debut as an antagonist, these five actors managed to win over the audience with both their attractive appearance and skillful acting.
- Emraan Hashmi
Emraan actually began his acting career in Footpath as a grey-shaded figure named Raghu, before going on to become the poster child for fatal relationships. The actor carved out a niche for himself in crime thrillers over the years, an achievement exclusive to him, playing a fearsome mobster in the movie.
- Tahir Raj Bhasin
In Mardaani, Tahir played a villain who stood in for Rani Mukerji and encouraged sex trafficking. Even if the audience detested his character, they were enamoured with him because of his innocent appearance. Since then, his outstanding performances have only served to cemented that position in their hearts.
- Vidyut Jammwal
With Force, the action hero Vidyut had a spectacular Bollywood debut opposite John Abraham as a menacing villain. His tone-perfected body and impressive action sequences left the audience in awe. The actor, who is currently regarded as one of the most gifted action stars in the business, reinvented the action genre.
- Freddy Daruwala
Despite the fact that Freddy portrayed a terrorist in Akshay Kumar’s movie Holiday, his charisma made it difficult to dislike him. He has never let the audience down since the exciting face-off he had with Akshay that had them on the edge of their seats.
- Rishabh Sathney
It couldn’t have been easy to play the adversary opposite the country’s favourite actor, Hrithik Roshan, but Rishabh showed his strength by standing tall against the Greek God in Fighter. His attractiveness and charisma on film made him enticing, and his radically different personality off screen further deepens the audience’s affection for him.
