Andrew Garfield On His Character
“I’m very grateful to Audible to be a part of this new incarnation of Orwell’s radical, political classic, 1984,” stated Andrew Garfield, who plays Winston in Audible’s 1984. A classic that, regrettably, people seem to have to interact with all the time. To remind ourselves that we are all human and to stay awake. And that soul is valuable and full of beauty. And how crucial it is that everyone of us oppose the forces that seek to suffocate and suffocate that shared spirit. Undoubtedly, the cast and crew are the crème de la crème of Irish and British talent. Telling this story to a crowd eager for their own freedom was a true pleasure.
Cynthia Erivo on performing the role of Julia
“It has been a truly wonderful experience getting the chance to share my interpretation of the incomparable Julia,” said Cynthia Erivo, who was performing the role of Julia. It has been a joy to play her humour, grit, and tenacity, her enthusiasm for life, and her want to LIVE. This adaption has enabled all of her good traits to come through, and it has been a pleasure to work with such amazing artists. Together, I believe we have accomplished something really unique.
Detail About The Music Composition Of The Movie
Award-winning composer Ilan Eshkeri and singer, guitarist, and frontman of Muse, Matthew Bellamy, have developed an original composition that the London Metropolitan Orchestra performs at Abbey Road Studios, transporting listeners into the bleak world of 1984. Dolby Atmos mixing and a visceral, eerie atmosphere provide the production’s foundation.
“The music we created is more than a soundtrack; it’s a haunting echo of a future that Orwell warned us about and a reflection of our current societal trajectories,” said Matthew Bellamy and Ilan Eshkeri, who collaborated on the soundtrack for 1984. It is a moving musical monument to the ageless ability of art to both reflect and subvert the society we live in.
