Jailer 2 Box Office Collection Day 9: Rajinikanth’s action thriller earns ₹14.50 crore in India, taking its worldwide gross collection to ₹628.05 crore.

Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 continues its impressive box office run in its second week. Starring the superstar as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, the action entertainer has attracted audiences with its high-octane action, surprise cameos and strong fan following. Despite a decline in daily earnings, the film has maintained its momentum at the domestic and international box office.

Jailer 2 Box Office Collection Day 9 in India

According to Sacnilk, Jailer 2 collected an estimated ₹14.50 crore net in India on Day 9, across 10,484 shows. The film recorded a 15.5% drop compared to its previous day’s collection of ₹17.15 crore.

With these earnings, the film’s total India net collection has reached ₹348.85 crore. Its domestic gross collection now stands at ₹408.55 crore, reflecting its continued theatrical performance in the second week.

Jailer 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection

Jailer 2 has also recorded substantial earnings in overseas markets. The film reportedly collected ₹5 crore overseas on Day 9, taking its cumulative overseas gross collection to ₹219.50 crore.

As a result, the Rajinikanth-starrer has reached a worldwide gross collection of ₹628.05 crore. Its overseas earnings have contributed significantly to its global box office total, taking the film past the ₹600 crore mark.

Jailer 2 Day 9 Language-Wise Collection

The Tamil version remained the biggest contributor to the film’s Day 9 domestic collection. Here is the reported language-wise box office breakdown: 

Tamil: ₹9.35 crore from 4,885 shows

Telugu: ₹3 crore from 1,787 shows

Hindi: ₹1.75 crore from 3,624 shows

Kannada: ₹40 lakh from 188 shows

The Tamil version led the collections by a considerable margin, while the Telugu and Hindi versions also contributed to the film’s domestic earnings. The Kannada version added ₹40 lakh to the overall Day 9 total.

Jailer 2 Budget: Is Rajinikanth’s Film Heading Towards Profit?

Reportedly made on a budget of ₹240 crore to ₹350 crore, Jailer 2 has generated significant box office revenue. With its worldwide gross collection standing at ₹628.05 crore, the film has delivered a strong theatrical performance so far.

However, worldwide gross collections should not be confused with a film’s actual profit. Theatre-owner shares, distributor revenue, production costs, promotional expenses and non-theatrical deals all influence the final financial outcome. The film’s confirmed profitability will depend on the complete revenue and expenditure figures.

As Jailer 2 continues its second-week run, its upcoming daily collections will be crucial in determining its box office trajectory.
