8th March,2024, Mumbai: The youthful, multifaceted actor Raashii Khanna, who is a pan-Indian sensation, is one of the voices supporting this diversity. She openly discusses her experience of accepting flaws and finding strength in vulnerability in a recent interview.
Rashi Khanna consider emotions as a strong strength
Raashii’s genuineness comes through as she talks about how she used to think that having strong emotions was a weakness. She acknowledges, “I have always been an extremely emotional person, and for some reason, I have always viewed it as a flaw.” But as time went on, her viewpoint changed profoundly. Growing up brought about the awareness that having strong emotions is actually a strength rather than a weakness. In a society that frequently promotes disengagement, Raashii understands the importance of her feelings in creating sincere bonds and empathy. “After reaching adulthood, I realised that having strong emotions is a virtue, as many people in our society tend to become emotionally cold easily,” the woman muses. She continues, “I believe that my emotional nature makes me imperfectly perfect.”
Rashi Khanna’s professional career
Raashii’s professional career has been nothing short of fascinating, even though her insights about embracing imperfection are motivating on their own. Her varied range of assignments, encompassing several languages and genres, epitomises adaptability and perseverance in a field that frequently confines female actresses to preconceived notions. On March 15, she will star in the action thriller Yodha with Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani. Later this year, she may also be seen opposite Vikrant Massey in The Sabarmati Report and TME. Raashii’s upcoming films outside of Hindi cinema are Telusu Kada in Telugu and Aranmanai 4 in Tamil.
