After Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul, Siddharth Malhotra, and Kiara Advani announced their engagements, it is peak wedding season in Bollywood. The Shershaah pair will wed on February 6 at Rajasthan’s Suryagarh Palace near Jaisalmer. They arrived at the location yesterday to begin the wedding procedures and festivities. Ashneer Grover made a startling admission prior to the wedding that Kiara Advani nearly caused him to get divorced. Read below to know how.
In a day, Kiara Advani will wed her longtime partner, Sidharth Malhotra. An old tweet between Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover and Kiara Advani has drawn notice as their fans become eager for their wedding. In his book Doglapan, the co-founder of BharatPe described how Bollywood actress Kiara Advani once came close to forcing him into a divorce. As the actress prepares to wed, an old tweet from a Twitter user has gained popularity. The tweet included screenshots of the book pages where Ashneer related a story.
His memoirs includes a chapter fittingly titled How Kiara Advani Almost Got Me Divorced. In the chapter, Ashneer detailed a chat he had at work with a buddy and fellow founder. When he enquired as to whether marriage was in his future, his pal said that he had met a celebrity matchmaker equivalent to Sima Aunty from Indian Matchmaking. The pal responded with Kiara Advani when asked about his ideal partner. Ashneer thought back to his mother’s taunts about him growing up to be a large guy with little time for his family. If he had gotten married this time, he would have received a proposal from Kiara Advani, he said, adding that his mother doesn’t understand the realities of the market.

Madhuri was upset by this information, so for hours she kept quiet and avoided talking to her husband. Ashneer bugged her on the journey to Mumbai, and to his amazement, she yelled out that she wanted to wed Kiara Advani. She also recalled how she had married Ashneer when he was a nobody and had supported him through thick and thin. When she pushed, he joined Shark Tank India as well.
