Breathe season 3 on OTT recently featured Abhishek Bachchan. The actor has made significant progress online, but he hasn’t completely shunned the big screen. Despite the fact that he has been gone from the big screen for some time, we have heard that Abhishek will soon be staging a sort of comeback. Abhishek Bachchan may collaborate with director Nikkhil Advani on his remake of the Tamil film KD, according to rumours on Peepingmoon.
The aforementioned project will reportedly be a comedy-drama created under Nikkhil’s production company Emmay Entertainment. KD, a 2019 Tamil film, will be remade in this project, and Madhumita Sundararaman, who directed the original, will also helm the remake. In fact, the report goes on to say that Madhumita has already started the pre-production work on the movie and plans to begin shooting in Bhopal in January 2023.
Regarding the movie itself, KD’s plot revolves around the peculiar connection that an elderly man forms with a young child. Abhishek Bachchan reportedly thought the story’s premise was fascinating and decided to participate. The part originally performed by Mu Ramaswamy will be filled by Abhishek in the remake. The main character of the movie is an elderly man who wakes up from a coma unexpectedly to learn that his family is planning to murder him. The character flees and eventually meets an eight-year-old orphan.
Speaking about the shoot, the producers have a two-month timeline planned to film the project, with a tentative release date of somewhere in the middle of 2023.
