Shoojit “ Successful” Sircar

The director of numerous successful movies, including Sardar Udham Singh, Vicky Donor, Madras Cafe, Piku, and October, is preparing to helm another picture starring Abhishek Bachchan. He revealed about his next project
The filming of his next project, which is a Rising Sun Films production, was mostly completed in the United States. In an interview, Sircar revealed, “It’s another emotional, slice-of-life film. My stories are always related to life and they have humour in them. I have always tried to experiment in various genres, keeping the journey of life as the main theme. I am collaborating with Abhishek Bachchan for my next film. I will take you on a mundane, ordinary man’s journey.”
He wants to connect with global audience
The director also shared his aspiration to connect with global audiences. He said, “My aim with all my films is to reach audiences worldwide. My latest work continues this mission by delving into the life of an ordinary man embarking on an extraordinary journey, bringing smiles along the way.”
Sardar Udham
At the 69th National Film Awards, Sardar Udham directed by Shoojit Sircar took home five prizes, including Best Hindi Feature Film. Audiences all throughout the world praised and praised the film, which honoured the bravery and patriotism of independence fighter Sardar Udham Singh. Sardar Udham starred Vicky Kaushal in the lead and was produced by Rising Sun Films and Kino Works. Despite their joint effort, Sardar Udham, receiving five prestigious awards, including Best Hindi Film, at the 69th National Awards, Vicky Kaushal, who brilliantly portrayed Udham Singh, did not receive the Best Actor accolade. The award went to Allu Arjun, the lead actor of Pushpa: The Rise.

Abhishek was last seen as an alcoholic cricket coach in R Balki’s Ghoomer last year. He starred alongside Saiyami Kher, Angad Bedi, and Shabana Azmi among others. He’ll be next seen in a yet-untitled dance dramedy directed by Remo D’Souza, which will reunite him with his beloved Ludo co-star Inayat Verma.
