Rajkumar Santoshi, a filmmaker, had earlier in the day revealed the title of his upcoming movie, Gandhi Godse – Ek Yudh. The movie is scheduled to be released on January 26, 2023, which is Republic Day. As a result, it would compete with Shah Rukh Khan’s eagerly anticipated Pathaan.
Even though SRK film would be premiered on January 25, a day before Republic Day, it is still the same week and only a day apart. Gandhi Godse – Ek Yudh’s producers used a trailer including footage from several of Santoshi’s renowned films from the decades past to publicise the movie and its release. Even though the release date was made public, the movie’s celebrity cast remained a secret.
However, there were rumours that Tanisha Santoshi, the daughter of the director, would be making her acting debut in this movie last year. Tanisha also sent her father an emotional email of congratulations on the movie as soon as the launch video was out today.
According to the title, Gandhi Godse – Ek Yudh is a film on Nathuram Godse, the assassin of Mahatma Gandhi. Yash Raj Films’ Pathaan, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, is an outright stylish action comedy.
