18th June 2023,Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter on Father’s Day to express his excitement and congratulate his daughter, Suhana Khan, on her imminent entry into Bollywood. Suhana will be making her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s film, The Archies. The Netflix Tudum event held in Sao Paulo featured the release of the movie’s teaser, and Shah Rukh Khan was quick to share his thoughts.
In his tweet, Shah Rukh Khan said, “On Father’s Day – here’s wishing the best to my baby…” He extended his congratulations to Suhana on her debut in #TheArchies and also shared the teaser with his followers. This gesture by the renowned actor garnered appreciation from fans who praised his love for his children and his unwavering support.

During the highly anticipated Netflix Tudum event, held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, over 10,000 enthusiastic attendees were treated to a 1.16-minute clip of The Archies. The trailer’s unveiling generated immense excitement and anticipation among the global audience.
Zoya Akhtar, the director of The Archies, shared the movie’s trailer on her Instagram account with the caption, “Welcome to the Archies.” As the first look was revealed, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan from the popular Netflix series “Never Have I Ever” introduced the main cast on stage.The talented ensemble, including Dot (Ethel Muggs), Agastya Nanda (Archie Andrews), Khushi Kapoor (Betty Cooper), Mihir Ahuja (Jughead Jones), Suhana Khan (Veronica Lodge), Vedang Raina (Reggie Mantle), and Yuvraj Menda (Dilton Doiley), captivated the audience with their performance of the song “Sunoh” during the Tudum event.
The Archies, set in 1964, delves into the lives of Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel, and Dilton, the cherished characters from Riverdale. The film explores themes of friendship, freedom, love, heartbreak, and rebellion, offering a fresh perspective through the lens of the unique Anglo-Indian community.
