8th June 2023,Mumbai: Following the tremendous success of her latest cinematic venture, “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,” Sara Ali Khan finds herself basking in the glory. Recently, the actress was approached with inquiries regarding her potential plans to tie the knot with a cricketer. Responding to the query tactfully, Sara maintained her composure, considering the speculation surrounding her connection to cricketer Shubman Gill.
Reports suggest that Indian cricket player Shubman Gill and Sara Ali Khan are romantically involved. Although the couple has addressed these dating rumors, they have neither explicitly confirmed nor denied them. Paparazzi photographs taken last October captured the pair dining at a restaurant in Mumbai, further fueling the speculations about their relationship. Adding to the allegations, a video surfaced showing Sara and Shubman leaving the same hotel and boarding the same airplane. Prior to 2020, Sara was rumored to have parted ways with actor Kartik Aaryan, as suggested by Karan Johar.
When asked about the possibility of following in her grandmother Sharmila Tagore’s footsteps and marrying a cricketer, Sara responded, “I believe that the kind of person I am, it doesn’t matter what their profession is—whether they are an actor, cricketer, businessman, or doctor.” She humorously added, “Perhaps not doctors; they might run away. But jokes aside, it’s essential to be intellectually compatible with me. If you can meet that criterion, it would mean a great deal to me personally.” When probed about whether anyone from the current Indian cricket team has caught her attention, she candidly expressed, “I’ll be honest with you, I think—I can say this with almost certainty—that the person I am destined to be with hasn’t crossed my path yet.” She expressed her doubts about the likelihood of such an encounter.
In her recent venture, “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,” Sara was paired with Vicky Kaushal. The film has garnered an impressive box office collection of $30 crore thus far and continues to perform well nationwide. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the movie made its theatrical debut on June 2, captivating audiences across the country.
