Her next project, directed by Abhishek Kapoor, will see her make her Bollywood debut alongside Aaman Devgn, the nephew of actor Ajay Devgn. The actress discussed landing the movie part and her first day on the sets in a recent interview.
Rasha talks about her first movie with Abhishek Kapoor and experience of working with him
Recently, Cosmopolitan India spoke with Rasha Thadani. She mentioned during the event that she went through an audition process to land the role in her first movie, saying, “Gattu sir (Abhishek Kapoor) is not someone to just take’someone’ in his film.” I tried out for the part, and I’m not ashamed to admit that I was a total failure. However, he must have recognised that I had something, because he gave me the opportunity to work with him on my first film. For this, I am thankful and fortunate. I hold him in high regard as one of the best filmmakers I have ever collaborated with.
Calling it a “learning process,” the daughter of legendary actress Raveena Tandon remembers turning eighteen on the third or fourth day on set. She presented the schedule for her “hectic” schedule, which included leaving for the seminars at 11 p.m. every day after returning from the school at 8 a.m. She added that she would return to her workshops to prepare for her 12th board exams.
Rasha further disclosed that she had a very busy schedule after taking her board examinations throughout the movie shoot. She therefore believes that while filming the “beautiful film,” she “matured in the process” and that it is a “dream come true” for her.
Rasha further recounted that on her first day of filming, she had a temperature of 102° while they were filming on Madh Island, Maharashtra. “I had no idea what was going on; I was just getting by on Electral,” the speaker said, laughing. I’m sorry for Gattu Sir, who showed such mercy. She said, “I don’t think I’ve ever been so nervous in my life.
Rasha shares advice regarding handling trolls on social media
The famous child added in the interview that she is resilient and considers herself fortunate not to receive as much trolling as she does on the internet. “I follow this saying: If your day is 100% and something affects 3% of it, don’t let the other 97% get affected as well,” she said, sharing her motto. She also added that if trolling occurs, one must process, feel horrible for it for a little while, and move on. She also underlined the significance of consistent meditation.
