Currently, it seems like there is not stopping for the Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming Pathaan. The pre-booking numbers went so high on the first day itself that might have broken many records. Shah Rukh Khan’s return on the big screens after 4 years is being hugly celebrated by fans.
The trailer of the pathaan recently hit 50M on the Youtube over a week. As soon as the trailer dropped, fans couldn’t resist themselves but found it really amazing. People are praising the action that is shown in the trailer and the Vfx as well. But hey, did you notice some vfx erorrs in the trailer? We’re sure you would have missed on them.
Let us surpise you by showing some of the scenes in Pathaan that lacks good Vfx :
If you look at the scene where John Abraham fires a Bazooka at the car, the teaser and the trailer has major difference when you notice the car. The logo, the reflections, has been changed.
The shot which is right after the gun fires, the car blasts, looks a bit unreal as there is no shadow added to the left tyre of the car.
The car blast shown in the teaser and the trailer differs on a huge scale. The blast which was shown in the Teaser felt unreal and not well-edited whereas Trailer has done it all good.
The next comes the Hologram scene. There’s nothing wrong with the scene but, the deep white and deep black colour turns out to be a wrong decision as Hologram doesn’t have the dark colours just as deep as they are. If you have any Deep black or white colour, the holograph makes it look transparent.
Look at the white poster which has an image of a ship blast and the one below that:
Another scene comes in when Deepika Padukone is tied with the Helicopter. The scene looks really crazy and exciting. But, why isn’t Deepika wearing any Glasses, Lens while she flies. There’s literally no effect that can be seen in Deepika’s eyes, they are wide open while she’s up there flying with a Helicopter.
One scene from the teaser which needed to be cured has been taken into consideration by the team already. You could easily see the green screen on the upper surface of the building while the gun fire hits the building. Look at it below:
John Abraham’s scene where he can be seen with no shirt on, feels unreal. If you notice his left side of the chest, you will realise that no makeup or Vfx could hide the reality.
After that, the scene comes where Shah Rukh Khan fights. If you notice, its not Srk but his body double who has done some action scenes. You could clearly see the face proportion wasn’t correctly patched.
In this scene, Shah Rukh’s height looks a bit shorter than John’s. But in the very next scene, both of their heights looks the same. Srk’s body was stretched while editing. See below:
The next scene, where John’s standing on the vehicle is done really but. The only problem lies is the background. The editors should have blurred the background a bit as John was in the focus but instead they have sharpened it all including the cars, buildings, roads, trees. See below-
In the next scene, the car crashes the pillars. The car was in focus and the shadows have been put really well. The actors are correctly blurred. But again, the background is still crystal clear with sharpness. And the pillars didn’t moved a bit or got bend even after a big vehicle crashed them which feels really weird to see.
Not just Pathaan, but the recently released trailer of the film ‘Adipurush’ got massively trolled for its Vfx and editing. Therefore, they had decided to re-release the trailer and went into editing all again.
No doubt the Pathaan’s trailer is really amazing. Be it the Action, the actors, the acting, the scenes, everything of it creates excitement on another level. Well, even the Vfx are good if you compare it with other movies with the same budget. As we already know, this is the Spy Universe, get ready for some stunning cameos.
Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, opens in theatres on January 25. After a lengthy hiatus of almost five years, it marks the actor’s first release. In 2018, SRK’s most recent film was Aanand L. Rai’s Zero. Pathaan has a lot on the line, not just for the box office but also since it is Yash Raj Films’ first significant release of 2023. Along with Shah Rukh, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham are the stars of Pathaan. In the movie, John is the antagonist. Siddharth Anand, who previously produced Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War, is the director of Pathaan.
