The news was confirmed, and the fans were happy and surprised by one good news after the other, everyone was excited for the lovely couple. They welcomed Raha, their first daughter, in November, 2022.
Recently, in an interview where the actor was promoting his most recent movie ‘Tu Jhoothi, Main Makkaar’ starring Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead. Ranbir Kapoor was asked which movie would be want Raha, his daughter to watch out of his filmographic career when she grows up?
Ranbir being a new father showed quite an excitement when asked a question in relation to his daughter, he was amused. The actor answered keeping in consideration, the near future, that she is quite young. He would want her to watch Barfi or Jagga Jasoos. Realizing that Barfi could still be a little too emotional movie for her, he would want her to first watch Jagga Jasoos.
Showing the responsible side of a father, he wanted her to watch Jagga Jasoos because the genre is more child friendly and as a child she would enjoy the genre more. Reminiscing about his childhood, he goes to talk about how he and his sisters would watch their mother’s movie “Do Kaliyaan”. Neetu Kapoor was 8 years old and she had a double role in the movie. Ranbir adds “Do Kaliyaan” to the list of movies he would want Raha to watch apart from his own filmography. He surely wants his daughter to watch her grandmother’s movie which he has good memories watching as a child himself.
He did choose a age appropriate movie for his daughter in the near future. He would want her to watch all the great movies and movies he feels are worth watching for a child at a certain age, respective of how it did at the box office. As a father and a proud actor, he would want his daughter to watch her father’s filmography and maybe learn a lesson or two along the way, while having fun.
