Ramayana
Producer Madhu Mantena and his group are going all out for the Ramayana film, even after the disaster of Prabhas’ Adipurush. Madhu first revealed the director of the Ramayana trilogy, Nitesh Tiwari, back in 2020. Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash’s film Ramayana Part 1 will shoot soon. The movie will feature Ranbir as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi in the role of Sita Maa, and Yash in the role of the mighty demon Ravaan. Sources have also revealed that Sunny Deol will be playing Lord Hanuman in this epic saga.
The movie will be high on VFX.
The visual effects of Ramayana, which have been handled by an Oscar-winning team, would ‘blow’ the audience away. According to the source, “Nitesh Tiwari and his team have been hard at work crafting the Ramayana universe, and the blueprint is now complete.” The Oscar-winning company DNEG created the VFX plates, and fans would be in for a mind-blowing experience.” The source went on to say that the Ramayana’s power lies not in its visuals but in its straightforward narrative and gripping inter-character emotions.
Part One will end with Sita Haran.
Part one of the movie will focus more on Lord Ram and Sita Maa’s characters. Raavan won’t have much screen space in the first part. The movie will end with Sita Haran, where we will be introduced to the character of Yash, which will be Ravaan. Sunny Deol as Hanuman will also have less screen time in Part 1. He will have a full-fledged role in the other two parts.
An official announcement will be made on Ram Navmi.
Producers haven’t announced the movie officially, but now the sources have confirmed the news of the announcement. They will announce the epic saga on the occasion of Ram Navmi, which is on April 17.
