21st June 2023,Mumbai: Mukesh Khanna, who had previously objected to Saif Ali Khan’s choice for the roles of Lankesh and Ravana, has now said that the entire Adipurush cast should be “burnt alive.”
Actor Mukesh Khanna has encouraged “the 100 crore Hindus of India” to “wake up” and join the protest to stop the release of this Ramayana adaptation as he continues to oppose the release of Adipurush. He vowed to burn the Adipurush crew to death at 50 degrees and cursed them.
“Forgiveness for them is inappropriate.” In an interview, Mukesh Khanna stated, “I declared on my channel yesterday that this entire squad should be burned standing at fifty degrees.”
“Kehte hain Manoj Muntashir bahut bada writer hai,” Mukesh stated in an interview. “Follow Maine kabhi nahi kia hai unko. Unki bachkani baatein sunn ke mujhe bahut bura laga hai. Poora Hindustan khada ho gaya toh ye mooh chhupaenge, mujhe laga tha ki itne criticism ke baad. But you say, Valmiki ji ka version tha, fir uske baad mein Tulsidas ji ka version tha, fir uske baad mein Ramanand Sagar ji ka version tha.” Ye mera version hai. Who the hell are you, Arey Bhai? Aap kya Valmiki ke upar hain jo bachcho ko bolenge ki purani baatein bhool jao, main jo bata raha hu wohi sahi hai?” (Manoj Muntashir is allegedly a well-known author. I’ve never read his writing. But His naïve justifications have left me unimpressed. When the entire nation is criticising him, I assumed he would save face. However, he is defending his work by asserting that Adipurush is his own version and follows Valmiki, Tulsidas, and Ramanand Sagar’s versions. Is he superior to Valmiki that he would advise the young people of today to put their pasts aside and accept what he is demonstrating as true?).
“Inhone Hanuman ko chamda pehna diya. Rama ko inhone chamde ke sandals pehna diye. Na Rama ki, Na Krishna ki, Na Vishnu ki moochh ho sakti hai. Unko dekh kar hum bade huye hain.” (They forced Rama and Hanuman to wear leather. None of Rama, Krishna, or Vishnu possessed a moustache. We’ve been watching them all our lives.)
Mukesh continued by saying that T-Series head Bhushan Kumar, who co-produced Adipurush, is ruining what his late father Bhushan Kumar accomplished by creating and making popular a large number of bhajan songs, or Hindu devotional music. “T-Series ke karta dharta kaun the, aap jante hain. Unhone Rama ke bhajan, sare devon ke bhajan, itne well-known kar diye the ki one wohi cheez bikti thi. Khud baith ke bhajburan sunte the. Aaj ye Ramayana padhaega unka beta? Kya apne baap ki parampara ko aage badha raha hai ya uska naam kharab kar raha hai?” (You are aware of the founder of T-Series. He helped make the bhajans of Rama and other gods so well-known that they ended up being T-Series’ best-selling music. He used to watch and hear bhajans himself. And now, his son is narrating this kind of Ramayana to everyone? Is he following in his father’s footsteps or soiling his legacy?)
