15th March, Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has found himself in trouble once again after Lawrence Bishnoi, a jailed gangster, issued a threat against him. Bishnoi, who is currently in jail for multiple criminal charges, has demanded that Salman apologize for allegedly hurting the sentiments of the Bishnoi community or be ‘ready to face consequences’. The Bishnoi community, which is known for its love for animals, was angered by Salman’s alleged hunting of two blackbucks in 1998.
In an interview with a news channel, Bishnoi warned Salman that he must apologize for his actions or face serious consequences. He claimed that the Bishnoi community had been waiting for Salman to apologize for the last 25 years and if he is not ready to do so, I (gangster Lawrence) will not depend on anyone else to teach a lesson.
Salman khan has not responded to Bishnoi’s threat, and it remains to be seen whether he will issue an apology or not. However, this is not the first time that Salman has been in trouble with the law. In 2015, he was convicted of killing a homeless man in a hit-and-run case, which he appealed and was acquitted of in 2016. In 2018, he was also convicted of poaching two blackbucks and sentenced to five years in prison, which he appealed and was acquitted of in 2020.
Salman khan is one of the biggest stars in Bollywood and has a massive fan following. However, his brushes with the law have tarnished his image and raised questions about his conduct. Many people have criticized him for allegedly flouting the law and getting away with it due to his celebrity status.
The Bishnoi community, which is spread across several states in India, is known for its love for nature and animals. They worship the blackbuck and consider it to be a sacred animal. Salman’s alleged hunting of two blackbucks in 1998 had angered the community, and they have been demanding justice ever since. The case has been in court for over two decades, and it remains to be seen whether Salman will be punished for his actions or not.
Measuring the scale of threat, Maharashtra police offered a gun license to Salman khan. Salman Khan has later received Y+ security from Maharashtra police, according to this 4 armed security personnel would accompany the actor.
