1 July 2023,Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut, renowned Bollywood actress, recently attended a grand party celebrating the success of her recently released film, “Tiku Weds Sheru.” The actress took to Instagram on Friday to share pictures from the event, flaunting her elegant off-shoulder saffron dress paired with golden-coloured heels. The photographs showcased Kangana’s various poses and expressions as she exuded grace and style.
In her Instagram post, Kangana humorously referred to her mother’s teachings about the importance of both work and play, stating, “Mom said there is a time to play and there is a time to study ha ha. My saying is there is a time to work and there is a time to party… Especially when @manikarnikafilms’ first production becomes a super hit, it’s time for a grand party.” Kangana accompanied her post with the hashtags #TikuWedsSheru, #NawazuddinSiddiqui, and #AvneetKaur.
Fans and fellow celebrities were quick to shower Kangana with praise. Raashii Khanna commented, “Stunning!” Fashion designers Gauri & Nainika wrote, “Gorgeous!” Admirers expressed their delight at seeing Kangana’s captivating pictures, with one fan exclaiming, “Only Queen knows how to slayyyy,” and another stating, “Nothing makes me happier than seeing your killer pics.” However, amidst the positive responses, a comment suggesting that Kangana had become a “foreigner” due to her attire attracted attention.
The popular Instagram account, Diet Sabya, also shared Kangana’s photo and sarcastically captioned it, “Remember when she said she hates fashion (laughing emoji). Anwhoo it’s a slay. 10/10 on the lewk! This is a great direction for @gauriandnainika. It could be huge!”
Notably, Kangana shared additional glimpses from the party on her Instagram Stories. She posted a picture with her co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui and referred to him as “Sheru mia” while adding red heart emojis. Nawazuddin looked dashing in a white shirt paired with a beige blazer and pants, complemented by black shoes. Kangana also shared a delightful selfie where she pecked Avneet Kaur on the cheek. Avneet looked stunning in an off-shoulder black dress.
These glamorous pictures and the celebratory atmosphere marked a departure from Kangana’s earlier comments about fashion and the influence of Western trends on Indian culture. In June, she had taken credit for starting the trend of “airport looks” in India but later criticised the fashion industry’s impact on the environment and traditional Indian artisans. Kangana had emphasised the need to support local crafts and raised questions about the dominance of international brands.
With her latest appearance at the Tiku Weds Sheru party, Kangana Ranaut showcases her unique style, turning heads in a vibrant saffron dress. As the actress celebrates the success of her film, she continues to spark discussions on fashion, culture, and the importance of promoting Indian craftsmanship in the industry
