Shraddha Kapoor posted a number of videos and pictures on her Instagram stories on March 25, providing a glimpse into her celebrations even as other Bollywood superstars revelled in the spectacular fun of Holi. It goes as saying that the movie star is open about her love of cuisine. She has openly acknowledged herself as a foodie on a number of occasions.
So, in keeping with the serendipity that the Holi celebration provided, the actress posted a number of photos of herself enjoying gheeyar and other delicious treats to celebrate. She added, “Happy Holi (accompanied by colourful hearts) May the only teda thing in your life be gheeyar or jalebi,” next to a picture of herself eating gheeyar as a way of extending her best wishes.
In addition, she shared a picture of delicious treats prepared for the holiday along with the caption, “Mujhe kuch mat kehna aaj Holi hai,” and, in true mischievous fashion, she included a GIF of a weeping girl. Furthermore, the performer shared a few pictures of herself with her friends who were all covered with gulaal, while wearing an open-haired green traditional patterned suit. In one of her selfies, she had gulaal all over her face and the caption was, “Rang Birangi.” In addition, a video of her laughing and defending herself against her friend colouring her has been viral online.
Prior to Holi on Sunday, Shraddha posted an image on her Instagram stories featuring numerous anonymous individuals dousing pet pets in colour. It showed how animals, in particular, are mistreated by being thrown colours during Holi. The actress tweeted, “If you see someone behaving like this (angry face emoticons), please take action (folded hands emoticons),” denouncing such behaviour.
