When Shah Rukh Khan last appeared on the big screen, he met a very unexpected foe. Zero, his most recent last film, was released alongside the Kannada movie KGF. Nobody anticipated that KGF, featuring rock sensation Yash, would be able to outperform Zero at the box office, let alone in the Hindi-speaking regions. After Zero’s failure, SRK also took a break from acting. King Khan appears to be returning, though.
Well, this isn’t the news. But Pathaan’s Pre-booking has also started in India. YRF commences the advance bookings of the film in 2D, 2D IMAX & 4DX screens. The Ticket prices Start from Rs 200 for the 2D screens and so on. With Pathaan tickets selling for Rs 2100 at locations for IMAX 2D versions, Delhi is experiencing the largest spike! Shah Rukh Khan appears to be unstoppable in terms of popularity abroad. The actor’s fans around the world, not just those in India, are anxiously awaiting his return. He is so popular that the movie apparently earned 150k Euros in Germany even before it was released, demonstrating how popular he is. Pathaan’s Pre-Booking figures literally crossed KGF 2’s lifetime collection abroad. Adding to what, it seems like nothing can stop people in the US and UAE as well.
Shah Rukh Khan plays the title character in the spy thriller Pathaan. Siddharth Anand, who is widely known for creating Bang Bang and War, directed it. Deepika Padukone plays the lead role in the most recent Spy Universe movie, one of the most important in her career. Salman Khan and John Abraham are cast members. On January 25, Pathaan will premiere on the Big screens.
The exact pre-booking figures in India are still awaited and we’ll be sharing it soon.
