4th November 2023, Mumbai: Mirchi, India’s leading city-centric music and entertainment firm, celebrated the 15th anniversary of its flagship property, the Mirchi Music Awards, on November 3rd at the Taj Santacruz in Mumbai. The event, hosted by Mirchi RJ Prerna, was a major celebration of extraordinary talent and originality in the Indian music business.
The event featured prominent musicians, composers, lyricists, and artists from the Indian music business. Some of the most famous and celebrated names in the music and entertainment industry attended the event, including Sajid Khan, Anup Jalota, Madhushree, Kumaar, Bhoomi Trivedi, Mohan Kannan, Raghav Sachar, Pritam, Ila Arun, Ramesh Sippy, Shilpa Rao, and others. Not only that, but Shalmali Kholgade, an Indian singing sensation, and popular music composer and performer Shashwat Singh dazzled the crowd. Their spectacular performances were the evening’s high point. Kholgade, known for her diverse and soulful voice, walked onto the stage with a fascinating aura and got the audience rocking to her chart-topping song, Balam Pichkari. Shashwat Singh, who added flavor to the event with his excellent voice, performed a power-packed performance with his hit tracks – Kesariya, Show me the Thumka, and Haan main Galat!
The 15th Mirchi Music Awards honored great achievements in different musical categories, highlighting Indian cinema’s diverse and rich musical landscape. The majority of the accolades went to Brahmastra’s Kesariya, including Song of the Year, Best Male Vocalist, and Best Female Vocalist, among others. Album of the Year was awarded to Laal Singh Chaddha.
