29 November 2023, Mumbai: Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’ commenced with a thunderous roar, soaring past the Rs 275 crore mark in Indian collections. Yet, the exhilarating narrative hit a somber note as its box office prowess began dwindling.
Struggling Amidst New Arrivals:
Witnessing a staggering fall from its zenith, ‘Tiger 3’ underwent a drastic plunge, yielding approximately Rs 2 crore daily since November 27. Despite managing Rs 2.25 crore on November 28, this sum fell short compared to its prior day’s Rs 2.60 crore.
A Tale of Rivals and Occupancy:
The impending arrival of ‘Sam Bahadur’ and ‘Animal’ on December 1 compounds the challenges for ‘Tiger 3’. In the midst of this theatrical tussle, the film recorded a mere 10.85% occupancy on November 28.
The ‘Tiger 3’ Legacy Unfolds:
Within the expansive YRF Spy Universe, ‘Tiger 3’ stands as a monumental chapter, continuing the legacy of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘War’, and ‘Pathaan’. Helmed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film features cameos by Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
Ambition Meets Expense:
Despite its staggering financial outlay, reportedly around Rs 300 crore, ‘Tiger 3′ shines as Yash Raj Films’ most opulent venture. With a score composed by Pritam and Tanuj Tiku, the film embodies grandeur amidst its struggle at the box office.
