The Kerala Story’s day six box office earnings: The popular movie continued to expand as it brought in 12 crore on Wednesday, bringing its total income to 68 crore.On its sixth day of release, The Kerala Story maintained its upward rise and trend, collecting 12 crore on Wednesday. Since its May 5 release, it has amassed 68.86 crore at the domestic box office. Starring Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani, and Sonia Balani under the direction of Sudipto Sen.
Despite the controversy surrounding the movie and requests for its restriction in some places, its box office success has not been hampered.“ The Kerala Story is unbeatable and unstoppable,” trade expert Taran Adarsh tweeted. “Continues to have a fantastic week… Saturday at 11.22 crore, Sunday at 16.40 crore, Monday at 10.07 crore, Tuesday at 11.14, and Wednesday at 12 crore. Overall: 68.86 crore. India Blockbuster’s box office performance on weekdays: growth or decline… Monday: [growth] 25.40%; Tuesday: [growth] 10.63%; and Wednesday: [growth] 7.72% Excellent Trending.”
Despite a drop on Monday, the movie did well over the weekend since it was trending on social media and in the news.If this increasing trend continues, it might reach 100 crore by the weekend. On May 12, the movie will also be released internationally, which will increase its box office earnings.
Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, met with actors Adah Sharma, Sudipto Sen, and Vipul Amrutlal Shah on Wednesday in Lucknow. The Hindi movie’s team wished to thank the CM for his support after Uttar Pradesh proclaimed it tax-free on Tuesday. Additionally, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana have decided that moviegoers will not be charged any taxes.
In response to criticism the movie had been receiving, producer Vipul stated in a recent interview that The Kerala Story was not “against Muslims or Islam,” but rather terrorism. “This film is not against a particular religion or caste,” he told Rediff. “The fact that some people posted hateful, threatening, and abusive comments about the movie has been the most enjoyable. After witnessing the movie, three of them have publicly apologised on the same platform and praised it as being wonderful. That significantly supports or validates what we have been stating.”
