Ajay Devgan’s sports drama film was released yesterday. Today it is competing with Akshay Kumar’s Bade Miyaan Chote Miyaan 2.
Ajay Devgn’s film Maidaan was released in theatres yesterday. Maidan, based on the life of Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, was released on April 10. There was a lot of buzz on social media about this and after watching the film, people’s reaction (Maidaan Public review) also came out. According to public reviews, people have liked Maidan. Maidan, directed by director Amit Sharma, who has made films like Badhaai Ho, got a good response from the people on the first day. The film has collected Rs 37.37 lakh in advance booking. Along with this, the figures for the first day have also come out. According to Sacnilk’s data, Maidaan had collected Rs 2.6 crore on the first day. Although this collection was decent, Ajay’s film is very less in comparison to Shaitan. Shaitan had collected more than Rs 14 crore on the first day.

Based on a real story, this film depicts the golden period of Indian football which was from 1952 to 1962. Ajay Devgan played the role of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim in the film. The film revolves around him.
People liked Ajay Devgan’s acting a lot. Fans say that he has put his soul into the role. Priyamani was seen in the role of his wife in the field. Whereas Gajraj Rao was in the role of sports journalist.
Will compete with Bade Miyan Chote Miyaan 2
The very next day of the release of Maidaan, it is clashing with the film Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan 2. Earlier both were going to be released on the same day but the release date of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer was postponed by a day.
According to the report of Saknilk, Bade Mian Chhote Mian has earned a lot in advance booking on the first day. Currently, this action-thriller is facing tremendous competition from the field at the box office.
How Many Tickets Booked
Till 6 pm on Wednesday, a total of 24 thousand 800 tickets of ‘Maidan’ had been booked in India’s top 3 multiplex chains PVR Inox and Cinepolis. But the catch is that out of these, 17 thousand 950 tickets had been booked for the paid preview of the film which started after 6 pm on Wednesday. ‘Maidan’ will be released in a full-fledged manner on Thursday i.e. 11th April.
According to industry tracker sacnilk, a total of 27 thousand 582 tickets have been booked in advance for the first day of ‘Maidan’, including multiplexes and single screens . With this the film has earned Rs 62.60 lakh. But these are not final figures. Because more tickets for the film will be booked on the night of 10th April.
