One of the top-rated and most adored performers in the Punjabi entertainment business is Ammy Virk. In addition to the Punjabi sector, he has established himself in Bollywood and gained a following there. Speaking of Ammy, we just had an exclusive chat with him during which he clarified a number of issues. He talked about the expansion of Punjabi film across all of India during the conversation. Ammy discussed his foray into Hindi cinema as well as the flops of Ranveer Singh’s ’83 and the Ajay Devgn-led Bhuj.
Ammy Virk discusses stereotypes about sardars
In any case, the host of Bollywood Bubble questioned him on Sardar ji stereotypes as the discussion turned open. Verk responded appropriately after speaking passionately. In reference to the Bollywood ke filmo, he stated, “Pehele aise hota tha jinki dadhi bhi nahi hoti thi. If unko sardar ke role ke liye koi banda chahiye, then sardar ko hi prefer karte hai, then abhi aise nahi hota hai”.
“If prefer bhi nahi karte, then sardar ko hi bula lete hai punjab se,” Ammy continued. “Aisi topi type pagdi hoti thi filmo mein, nahi toh pagdi bhi nahi bandhni aati thi”.
“Ise the nahi toh who thoda alag type ka lagta tha ki pata. That’s right, I’m an artist. Bandhe kaam karenge” in Punjabi.
The host later inquired about Ammy’s opinion of saradars’ employment as comic relief in movies as the debate continued. “Thikey,” replied Ammy, “hum log husmukh hai, comedy bhi achi kar lete the, par iska matlab ye nahi ki hum sirf comedy hi kar sakte hai.”
Recently, rapper Divine and singer Ammy Virk released their new song, Busy Getting Paid. The actor is well-known from films like Oye Makhna, Sufna, Qismat 2, and others. With the release of his new album, he is expected to win over more listeners with his songs.
