On November 26, veteran actor Vikram Gokhale passed away (Saturday). The actor, who spent some time in the hospital at Pune’s Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital, passed away as a result of multiple organ failure. He was 77 years old and appeared in a number of well-known Bollywood films, including “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam,” “Mission Mangal,” “Aiyaary,” “Bhool Bhulaiya,” and others. His wife and two kids have survived him. Akshay Kumar, a famous actor from Bollywood, tweeted about the passing.
According to a family acquaintance of the actor, Vikram Gokhale’s mortal remains will be housed at the Balgandharva Auditorium in the city and the actor’s final rituals will be conducted at the Vaikunth cremation in the evening.
The hospital where the veteran actor is receiving treatment reported that his condition had somewhat worsened earlier in the day. “The well-known actor Vikram Gokhale is still being kept alive by a ventilator, and his condition has somewhat gotten worse. He is now again using a BP support drug “said Shirish Yadkikar, a hospital spokesperson.
The actor was slowly but steadily improving on Friday, and as a result, the doctors predicted that he would be free of ventilator support in 48 hours. But today, his condition worsened, and he passed suddenly.
At the age of 26, Vikram Gokhale made his cinematic debut in 1971’s “Parwana,” which starred Amitabh Bachchan. Gokhale has had a more than 40-year acting career and has acted in a number of Marathi and Bollywood movies. He last appeared in the movie “Nikamma” with Shilpa Shetty and Abhimanyu Dassani. In June of this year, the movie premiered in theatres.
