Balanced Perspective
Because the movie came out during an election year, people have been talking about its fair viewpoint. Jambhale, on the other hand, claims that Article 370 emphasises the local Kashmiri viewpoint, showing how the abrogation has impacted people personally, such a person in Dal Lake who is a shikara vendor.
Political Undertones
Jambhale highlights the film’s intention to highlight the clandestine operation behind the abrogation, presenting it as an intriguing tale of normalising the most militarised zone and uniting India, despite the political implications. As a director, he wants to tell stories that align with his values, thus he views the decision to abolish Article 370 as a step towards a united India.
