He is famous for his hits like Excuses, All Night, Hills, Desires, Wo Noor, Majhail, Brown Munde, With You, and more.
Although,
AP Dhillon is currently getting slammed and heavily criticised for his actions at this event.
“Breaking of the Guitar”; heavily criticised
AP Dhillon posted a viral video of him performing at Coachella 2024. In this video clip, he is seen singing and performing for the crowd in the beginning; later on, the clip showed him “breaking his guitar,” which offended a large number of people. The video was captioned, “BROWN MUNDE HAVE LEFT THE DESERT.” The crowd present there was excited and took it well, but fans over the internet went ballistic. Within a few minutes of him posting the video, the internet slammed him for his behaviour. Comments were overboarding the posts. A fan commented on the post and said, “Respect the things that brought you to this stage. It’s completely yours and your loss.” Another commented, “Not the guitar, bro.” A fan also said, “And you think doing this looked good?” with a shocking expression. Among all this, a user commented, “This is what makes Diljit different from others.” It looks like Diljit Dosanjh won hearts at his concert, and AP Dhillon only got slammed.
Rahul Vaidya reacted, “Do not forget…”
After AP Dhillon’s incident of breaking the guitar at Coachella 2024, the video received excess slamming. Rahul Vaidya, an Indian singer and musical composer, also reacted to the clip. He said, “Unfortunate,” and also advised AP, “Do not forget your roots.”
His exact words were, “Unfortunate behaviour! In our culture, we are taught to worship stage and musical instruments, and this Punjabi artist, who hails from Punjab, is copying this old western style of breaking guitars on stage! Sad. AP, don’t forget your roots, brother!” He commented on this on another Instagram page that was circulating the video. Besides Rahul, social media personality Meenu Panchal also reacted and wrote, “I feel it’s disrespect! I don’t care about the logic behind this, but “rozi roti ki izzat karna” can never go out of fashion.”
AP paid tribute to Sidhu Moosewala.
During the performance of AP’s hit, Brown Munde, the singer had a display that read, “Justice for Sidhu Moosewala.”
