Noted Due to a protracted illness, tamil producer SS Chakravarthy passed away on Saturday. While receiving medical care at a private hospital in Chennai, he passed away. Chennai is where the producer’s funeral ceremonies would be held. He is well known in Kollywood for supporting Ajith Kumar’s films.
Ajith Kumar, Vikram, and Simbu were just a few of the superstars that appeared in the over 20 films that SS Chakravarthy produced under the banner of NIC Arts. He apparently worked on eight to nine films, some of which were huge successes, like Vaali, Mugavaree, Citizen, Red, Villain, Anjaneya, Ji, and Varalaru. He also produced the films Kaalai, Vaalu, and Le Kadhal Sadugudu alongside Silambarasan TR.
Vaalu, a romantic action comedy that was released in 2015 and was written and directed by rookie Vijay Chandar, was his last movie as a producer. Silambarasan, Hansika Motwani, Santhanam, VTV Ganesh, and Brahmanandam all played prominent roles in the movie. Along with the 2015 movie “Thoppi,” SS Chakravarthy also acted in the Tamil thriller web series Vilangu.
Additionally, he used his production company to launch his son into the movie business. Johnny, also known as Imran Chakravarthy, the producer’s son, made his acting debut in Renigunta, which he also produced. The following movie, 18 Vayasu, was likewise supported by him. Shakeel Nila Chakravarthy, his daughter, was also a part of the movie.
Filmmaker Arvindh Srinivasan responded to the news by posting a touching homage to Twitter. Producer SS Chakkaravarthy passed away from cancer this morning, he wrote. With back-to-back hits under his banner Nic Arts, Ajith Sir’s career was propelled to stardom. His final collaboration with Ajith sir was on Varalaru (The Godfather). SJ Suryah, AR Murugadoss, VZ Dorai, Saravana Subbiah, Ram Satya (Singam Puli), and Panneerselvam were among the filmmakers he offered opportunities to. He played a police officer in Vilangu and received praise for the role. He expressed a desire to make a comeback in producing during a recent interview. In 2015, SS Chakravarthy made his acting debut in the Tamil movie Thopi. He played a part in the just-released online series “Vilangu,” which also starred Vemal and Ineya. In the online series, he portrayed a police officer.
