Salman Khan is a well-known actor, producer, singer, and television personality in Indian cinema. A remarkable ensemble cast, including Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, Shehnaaz Gill, and Raghav Juyal, is featured in the recently released movie ‘Kisika Bhai Kisiki Jaan’. In a recent interview, Palak shared some fascinating facts regarding her time spent as Salman’s assistant director on the set of “Antim: The Final Truth.”
Salman had a rule regarding how ladies should dress on his movie sets, according to Palak. “I don’t think many people know this, but when I AD’d with Salman Sir on Antim, he had a rule: Ki koi bhi ladki unke set pe, neckline should be here (pointing out the neck) (for every girl on my set, the neckline should be here), all the girls should be covered, like good proper girls,” the actress said.
People also talk about how Salman Khan as an actor on the sets gives direction to the film makers of how the film should be made. All these allegations were asked when Salman Khan recently was invited on the Rajat Sharma’s show ‘Aap ki Adalat’.
Rajat Sharma asked Salman Khan, “We have all heard that It has been said that Aap apni manmaanee karte hai sets par aur movie apne marzi se move karte hai. Kaafi rules and regulations bhi rakhtein hai girls ke liye?”
To which Salman Khan answered, “Aisi bhi kayi cheeze hoti hai jo achi nahi hoti ya mujhe achi nahi lagti. Toh unhe change karna mera farj hai. Toh vo director bhi ek healthy discussion mein maan jaate hai. Film making ek team work hai jo sab milke banaye toh acha rahega.”
Salman’s order has drawn criticism from others, who argue that it fosters patriarchal attitudes towards women and that women should be free to wear anything they want. Others have defended Salman, claiming that his rule is not intended to objectify or control women and that he is merely concerned for the safety of women on his sets.
