Katrina Kaif, who made her Bollywood debut in 2003 with the box office flop Boom, recalled a time when she believed her acting career was over. In an interview, Katrina recalls being replaced in the film Saaya after only one shot.
“I got thrown out, or rather replaced, in a film called Saaya, which was directed by Anurag Basu and starred John Abraham and Tara Sharma,” the actor explained to Bollywood Bubble. After only one shot, not even one day. At the moment, I thought my life was over. “I believed that the end of my career was close.”
Katrina made her acting debut the same year Saaya was released. Anurag Basu directed the film, which starred John Abraham, Tara Sharma, and Mahima Chaudhary in pivotal roles.
Developing resilience, according to Katrina, is critical because most actors face rejection.”Everyone told me when I first started out, ‘You can’t be an actor, and you’re nothing special,'” she continued. At the time, I cried, and crying helps. You must, however, keep your vision, work hard, and be resilient.”
Katrina is currently filming Phone Bhoot, in which she will star alongside Ishaan Khatter, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Jackie Shroff. In addition, the actor is working on Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra. She can also be seen in Tiger 3 alongside Salman Khan and Merry Christmas alongside Vijay Sethupathi.
