Jay, her fiancé, finally talks!
Jay and Vaibhavi were scheduled to wed in December. “There is a misconception that you speed while travelling by car, but that was not the case”, he told ETimes. “Our car was at a complete stop while we awaited the truck to pass. I can’t communicate much right now, but I wanted to make sure that people didn’t think we were speeding or not wearing seat belts.”
Brother Ankit concurred with Jay’s statement.
Ankit Upadhyaya, her brother, concurred with Jay’s assertion. She was always cautious and would never ride in a car without a seat belt, he continued in the same interview. She would therefore use more caution when driving. Additionally, the doctors attested to the presence of seat belt marks on her neck. We had been considering organising her wedding, therefore it is tragic that she is no longer with us. He further disclosed that Vaibhavi was thrown from their car when the truck struck them. A few people attempted to assist the actor, but by the time they reached the hospital, it was too late.
