The entertainment industry’s most brilliant and well-liked young actress, Tunisha Sharma (4 January 2002–24 December 2022), left a lasting impression on the public with her remarkable performances and sincere demeanour. The actress co-starred with Sheezan Khan in the fantasy programme Alibaba: Dastaan-E-Kabul. Tunisha Sharma, in an unexpected turn of events, broke many people’s hearts on December 24, 2022, when she departed for her heavenly dwelling. The 20-year-old actress killed herself in the makeup room of her co-star and ex-boyfriend Sheezan Khan while filming Alibaba: Dastaan-E-Kabul.
Vanita Sharma, Tunisha Sharma’s mother, revealed during a media interview that the late actress contacted Vanita in the afternoon on the day of her suicide and was in a good mood. Having two days off, Tunisha informed her mother that she intended to spend Christmas in Chandigarh and asked her to arrange for her travel arrangements. Following that, according to Vanita, she was going to see Alibaba: Dastaan-E-Kabul was intending to meet Tunisha because the deceased actress was travelling to Chandigarh.
Following the call, Tunisha had lunch in Sheezan Khan’s makeup room with her co-star and ex-boyfriend. Tunisha was left in Sheezan’s makeup room by herself for over 15 minutes after their meal since Sheezan had to be called for his injection. Before Sheezan left for his shot, the two engaged in a “heated quarrel,” according to ANI. The deceased actress knocked on the door numerous times, but didn’t answer when a crew member went to call Tunisha for her shot. Sheezan Khan and other crew members gathered and attempted to open the door before discovering Tunisha Sharma hanging.
When Tunisha Sharma arrived at Fever And Brain Multispeciality Hospital (Naigaon East), she was immediately pronounced dead. An ECG later confirmed her demise. Sheezan Khan and two other persons were seen carrying Tunisha while hurrying to the hospital in a CCTV video that quickly went viral. Sheezan reportedly implored the doctor to revive Tunisha, but she had passed away. Hours later, Tunisha’s mother filed a FIR against Sheezan Khan, and a case of aiding suicide was registered. Sheezan Khan was then detained by the Waliv Police under Section 306 of the IPC. On December 27, at 3 PM, a crematorium on Mira Road in Mumbai hosted Tunisha’s creamation.
According to the source, Sheezan Khan’s bail hearing in Tunisha’s case was concluded today, January 11, in Vasai court, and the judge has postponed making a decision until January 13.
