Interview with The Filmy Charcha
Gia adorned herself in a maxi dress with oxidised jewellery. She looked beautiful and gave out a happy glow. In our Exclusive Interview, i.e. Interview of Rajpal Yadav, Gia Manek and Palaash Muchhal with The Filmy Charcha, the stars spoke about a various amount of things. From ‘pothole concerns’ to ‘film influence’, they spoke about these concerns and more other topics. In the Interview, when ‘Rahul Varun’, the founder of The Filmy Charcha asked Gia Manek about what was she feeling as the film was going to be a part of The Cannes Film Festival, Gia replied with, “First let it sink in me”, and let out a laugh. This further paved the path for another question, “What were the well wishes from the Television Industry and your reaction to everything?” asked to Gia Manek.
Gia on Well Wishes from TV Industry
Gia with subtle and charming voice agreed that people had texted her and wished her from the Television Industry. She said, “Yes, ofcourse people have texted me expressing their happiness on the Cannes Film Festival News. They said, ‘Arey humne toh socha nahi tha’ (Translation: We never thought about this), ‘Arey yeh kaise hua?’ (Translation: How did this happen?) , ‘Please give us more details’, to which I said, ‘Wait, I have to get more details before I give you’ and so I am myself waiting for the details and well right now our main focus of ‘Kaam Chalu Hain’ has to be the interviews and all promotional events, so we as a team are striving to the best together and give are 100% for it, so that our film reaches maximum people.”
Gia talks about Film making ‘The Cannes Film Festival’
The actress seems surprised and overwhelmed with the whole situation herself. Gia said, “I pretty much have an overwhelming reaction. First let it sink within me, after that i’ll be able to react for others.” She added, “This is because, the thing I didn’t expect is happening, and well it is happening now, so first let the whole thing happen and I think after that i’ll be able to react and tell how I feel about the film going to the Cannes Festival” she said this happily.
How was working with Rajpal Yadav for Gia?
When Gia Manek was asked to give her view point on Rajpal Yadav, as he is her co-star, though the whole world is well known of his comedy iconic films, Gia Manek’s view on this was much real and ultimately entertaining. Rajpal Yadav expressed, “Sabh galat baatein bata degi” (Translation: She will tell all the wrong things) in a fun witty manner. To this Gia said laughed and said, “What should I say, but to be very honest when I met Rajpal ji for the first time, I did not ask anyone about him and did not want anyone to tell me about him, because our industry is very judgemental and I did not want a preconceived opinion about him to form in my head because of other’s view point. God has given us a brain and we should talk to a person on our own and form an opinion. So when I met him, I felt as if I’ve known him for a long time already. Although, him being a senior actor I never felt complex around him and he never treated me as if I am a new comer, it was extremely smooth journey. I have always looked up to sir’s spectacular performances.”
