Questioning their claimed brother-sister bond, she said she felt “disgusted” by his behaviour. She also alleged that Love was manipulating Scout and urged him to maintain distance from her. Love remained silent throughout the confrontation.

The incident soon became a talking point, prompting Love’s team to release a lengthy statement addressing the controversy and the criticism directed at her. The statement highlighted the emotional impact of the incident on Love and her family, saying, “Her family is destroyed. Shattered into pieces.”

Love Gill’s Team Accuses ScoutOP of Blurring Boundaries

In its statement, Love’s team maintained that she had been clear about her boundaries from the beginning and considered ScoutOP like a brother. However, the team alleged that Scout blurred those boundaries by confessing his feelings for her, leaving Love to face the resulting backlash.

Love’s team further argued that she deserved to be heard, respected and protected instead of being subjected to public humiliation. It also expressed concern over the impact of the controversy on her family, stressing that women should not be held responsible for feelings or decisions they did not choose.

Concluding its statement, the team reiterated its support for Love and criticised what it described as an attempt to damage her reputation through public judgment.

“Love Gill deserved empathy, not cruelty. She deserved justice, not a character assassination,” the statement concluded.
