Telugu box-office isn’t proud of Liger; Hattrick of Disaster for Vijay Deverakonda

Liger was Vijay Devrakonda’s one among  the most hyped film which released on Thursday and started off really well with a South India Gross collection of approximately Rs 17 croces. (+2 crores from paid previews in Hindi) However, despite the collections, the result  was negative among the audience and critics. which lead the film to become one among the biggest disaster of South Indian cinema. 

According to our tracking, Liger has collected  within the range of Rs. 4.10 to 4.40 crores on its second day and goes  round the  total collection to Rs. 21 crore plus. The film  is predicted  to achieve an opening weekend share of between Rs 15 and Rs 16 crore in the Telugu markets, where the two-day share is now around Rs 11 crore.

Incase you’re unaware, for  a complete  of Rs. 55 crores, the distributors have purchased the action-sport movie, and hence, a bare minimum loss of Rs. 35 crores is on cards for this Vijay Deverakonda film in Telugu states. The film stands to lose the distributors  quite  Rs. 50 crores if we consider  the worldwide  potential.

After Dear Comrade and World Famous Lover,  it’ll  be the actor’s third consecutive failure in the Telugu market. While the film has  did not  find an audience in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka, it’s anticipated that Telugu-speaking areas will have seen the last of it by Monday. The run should end when he performs his next film Khushi with Samantha

A record number of Liger shows were cancelled on Friday morning. It is a 77 percent drop in collections for the film in South Indian states vis-à-vis the opening day.
