21st March, Mumbai: The creators of Pushpa 2 have put together a three-minute teaser using the action scenes filmed thus far, which is scheduled to be released on April 8th.
According to reports, the producers of Pushpa: The Rise, the sequel to the film series, plan to release a teaser for the movie on April 8th, Allu Arjun’s birthday. A video featuring footage from the first instalment and hinting at the announcement of the birthday teaser was posted on social media on Monday.
In November of last year, Pushpa 2 commenced production, starring Fahadh Faasil, beginning with a look test. The movie’s cinematographer, Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, shared a photo from the set on Instagram, stating that it was the beginning of the adventure.
Recently, the team wrapped up a significant shoot in Visakhapatnam, where they filmed several action scenes. According to a tweet from the Telugu movies portal Aakashavaani, the creators have produced a three-minute teaser from the action scenes shot so far, which is set to release on April 8, coinciding with Allu Arjun’s birthday.
In the second part of the film, the confrontation between Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil, who was revealed as the primary antagonist in the first part, will take centre stage. The character Srivalli, portrayed by Rashmika Mandanna, will also feature in the movie.
Arjun popularised the catchphrase “Thaggedhe Le” in Pushpa: The Rise and introduced a new catchphrase for the second part at an event last November. He expressed his hope that the same level of enthusiasm he has for the movie is also felt by the fans.
During the event, Allu Arjun addressed the fans’ anticipation for Pushpa 2 and shared a small update, revealing that the catchphrase in the upcoming film will be “Asalu Thaggedhe Le,” following the popular “Thaggedhe Le” from the first part. He expressed his hope for a positive outcome and shared his excitement, wishing that it would also be felt by the fans. Pushpa’s first part was originally filmed in Telugu, but it was later dubbed and released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, marking Allu Arjun’s first film to have a simultaneous release in five languages.
Allu Arjun portrayed the character of a lorry driver and sandalwood smuggler in the movie, which earned more than ₹300 crore globally. The Hindi dubbed version alone grossed over ₹100 crore.
