‘BRO’ Box Office Collection Faces Decline
‘BRO’, which marks the official Telugu remake of the Tamil film ‘Vinodhaya Sitham’, seemed to be on a promising trajectory initially. It successfully crossed the Rs 70 crore nett mark in India, giving hope to its creators. However, as the weekdays rolled in, the film faced a steady drop in box office earnings. On the seventh day of its release, ‘BRO’ managed to rake in an estimated Rs 1.70 crore nett in India, contributing to a Week 1 total collection of Rs 74.60 crore nett. Despite the initial buzz and strong opening, the film’s occupancy rate on August 3 plummeted to 15.86 per cent, indicating a challenging road ahead. The filmmakers are now hoping for a resurgence during the upcoming weekend to revitalize the film’s prospects and push it into the profitable territory.
