Lokah Chapter: 1 Chandra is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language superhero film directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan under his banner Wayfarer Films. Set as the first instalment in the planned Wayfarer Cinematic Universe, the film stars Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen, alongside Arun Kurian, Chandu Salimkumar, Nishanth Sagar, Raghunath Paleri, Vijayaraghavan, Nithya Shri and Sarath Sabha in supporting roles. The film is all set for a worldwide release on 28 August 2025.

A young woman discovers supernatural abilities while facing personal challenges. As evil emerges, she must accept her powers and destiny in a transforming world. Her journey launches a new superhero saga.

The two-minute, thirteen-second trailer opens in a war-torn setting, with fire and gunfire filling the screen. Soon after, Kalyani’s character emerges from the shadows, establishing her as the mysterious centrepiece of the story.

She is summoned by Nishanth Sagar’s character, who hints that another figure will reveal her destiny. The narrative then shifts between mythical landscapes and futuristic dystopias, creating a visual style rarely attempted in Malayalam cinema.

A voiceover tells her she has “not changed,” while another warns her to stay invisible. The teaser balances action, mystery, and philosophy, leaving the audience with more questions than answers.
