13th February, Mumbai: “Not many are aware that there are several scholarship schemes available through NGOs, trusts, and foundations in India. The pressure to join the workforce as soon as possible, sometimes the experience of crushing your goals is a challenge several students go through. Our commitment at Yuva Unstoppable is to ensure we reach the maximum number of deserving and needy students” – Amitabh Shah, Founder – of Yuva Unstoppable

The Yuva Unstoppable scholarship program aims to transform the lives of less privileged children and youth by maximising impact in the education sector by focusing on the fundamentals – providing opportunities for the development of youth. The program aims to give wings to the dreams of youth by providing long-term scholarships, coaching, and mentoring. Deserving and needy students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds are selected based on merit, performance, and need to enable them to pursue a career of their choice.

Himanshu Panchal is one such example of a Yuva Unstoppable scholar who dreamed of becoming a petroleum engineer and today aspires for a global posting. Employed with a multinational corporation, Himanshu hopes to get international exposure and also help himself and his family clear off his education loans. Timely assistance provided by Yuva Unstoppable and the guidance from Amitabh Shah and the Yuva team has ensured that bright, capable, meritorious, and deserving students such as Himanshu can aspire and chalk a successful pathway for themselves.

“Although education is classified as a primary need and right, it remains a distant dream for many children in India who either don’t have access or the means to fulfill their educational aspirations. As India’s youth number base widens, we need to be aware of the effects of educational disadvantages and disruptions faced by poor students due to lack of economic stability and security” – Amitabh Shah, Founder – of Yuva Unstoppable

As a proud recipient of the Yuva Unstoppable scholarship scheme for children from marginalized backgrounds with excellent academic performance, Himanshu today is a contributing member of his family. His journey from a modest background to today shouldering the responsibility of the home is both encouraging and inspiring.

Amitabh Shah’s view is that such timely support to needy and deserving students helps not only build the education platform for India but has also resulted in more students being supported. “Our Yuva Unstoppable existing scholars are also aware and sensitive young individuals, not only do they want to become mentors and advise more like them, they want to start earning and give a piece back to others. This ripple effect will have long-lasting consequences” – Amitabh Shah, Founder – of Yuva Unstoppable.

Today, Himanshu is a Yuva Unstoppable volunteer, helping other students in their journey. The scheme not only provides financial support but also concentrates on the overall development of the students by facilitating mentorship sessions, counseling sessions, peer networking engagement opportunities, and expert leadership lectures.

Yuva Unstoppable is an India & US registered leading NGO founded in 2006 by a group of zealous individuals led by Amitabh Shah with a mission to empower children and youth through various initiatives. Through its grassroots-level programs Yuva Unstoppable today has emerged as one of the leading NGOs in India with initiatives towards education, infrastructure degradation, and health & hygiene.
