MCU Phase Five Update: Frustration swell as multiple projects gets delayed!

20th March, Mumbai: According to Marvel Studios, the next Disney+ MCU series received a new update that might surprise some fans. Disney and Marvel appear to be pausing and rethinking their plan for the upcoming wave of releases, despite Phase 5 of the MCU off to a rocky start.

Recent examples include the animated series What If…? . Some believed the series may remain off Disney+ until the beginning of 2024 after Season 2’s formal postponement.

The fate of Tom Hiddleston’s Loki Season 2 was also disclosed in a subsequent update, and it now seems that the bad news for the MCU schedule for this year may not be over just yet.

Secret Invasion from Marvel Studios’ new release schedule is currently just marked as “Coming Soon” on the official Disney website. This is the first time the show’s original Spring 2023 release timeframe, which was initially announced during July 2022’s San Diego Comic-Con, has been altered.
Also, it is consistent with a recent story from February that claimed Marvel Studios was aiming to space out its releases on Disney+ in order to have less frequent premieres.

While Phase 5 and Phase 6 updates have undoubtedly been upsetting for fans, these delays might perhaps be for the best in order for Marvel Studios to produce the quality and greatness it was known for in the Infinity Saga.

Yet the main question right now is when exactly Secret Invasion will premiere, particularly now that the first trailer for the show has generated so much interest.
Most likely, this Skrull-focused series will replace Loki Season 2 in the late summer time slot, making its debut well after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 hits theatres. Yet given that some speculations claim that the series will premiere in May, it may merely get delayed a little and eventually launch on Disney+ in late June or early July.

Regardless of how long the series is delayed, it is hoped that Marvel Studios will be able to resolve all problems that arise during post-production, ensuring that the show’s plot and visual effects are up to par with the MCU standards.

In 2023, Secret Invasion is anticipated to make its Disney+ debut.
