21th April 2023, Mumbai: The movie version of Colleen Hoover’s best-selling book It Ends With Us will have Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni, and Brandon Sklenar in leading roles.
The actor from 1923 has been cast as Atlas Corrigan, according to a instagram post by Hoover. As previously announced, Lively will play Lily Bloom opposite Baldoni as Ryle Kincaid.
Through Sony Pictures and Wayfarer Studios, which he co-founded, former Jane the Virgin actor Baldoni is directing and executive producing the movie. Executive producers include Lively, Hoover, Steve Sarowitz, and Andrew Calof. The screenplay was written by and will be produced by Christy Hall, a co-creator of the Netflix series I Am Not Okay With This.
After announcing a nationwide open casting call for the part, Baldoni also used his social media accounts on Wednesday to announce that they had recruited the person who would play the younger version Lily Bloom. The actress’ identity was kept a secret, although he did thank the “amazing actors who submitted auditions for ‘Young Lily’ – Thank you for pouring your hearts into this role,” without revealing who she was.
The book, whichh is the basis for the film adaptation, follows Lily, a character with a troubled background, as she moves to Boston and meets Ryle, a neurosurgeon. Though she is certain she has found her soul mate, she gradually starts to have doubts about their connection. Atlas, the boy she was in love with in high school, reappears, further complicating matters.
In 1923, the second prequel to Yellowstone, Sklenar made his breakthrough as Spencer Dutton, co-starring with Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. The Offer, Westworld, The Big Ugly, Vice, Midway, and Temple are just a few of his major accomplishments.
