K-pop fan fights are ubiquitous. Since the Dahyun incident, BLACKPINK’s Blinks and TWICE’s Onces have been engaged in a contentious online dispute. It so happened that Lisa’s music video, Lalisa, arrived while Kim Da-Hyun was performing live for her admirers. It is one of the biggest K-Pop hits of 2021–2022, as we all know. The song is a hit, and Lisa has received recognition for it. Da-hyun ignored the music video for Lalisa that appeared to be an advertisement as she was performing TWICE songs for fans. The reaction of some Blackpink fans to this was negative. Da-hyun allegedly made up the fact that she didn’t have a YT Premium account, according to some Blinks.
Following that occurrence, fans of TWICE and BLACKPINK became more irate online. Both fandoms sparred because, as we all know, verbal slurs on Twitter can be extremely offensive. Currently, it has been reported TWICE on Twitter that some Blinks harassed and doxxed the administrator of one of their most popular fan pages. Doxxing is the malicious practise of disclosing someone’s personal information on social media. The individual is now seeking therapy at a hospital because it appears that this has negatively impacted their health. Since early in the day, the hashtag #Blinkscyberbullying has gained popularity.
