Actress Anne Heche of Hollywood passed away without leaving a will; son seeks to manage inheritance

Heche’s son with her ex-husband Coleman Laffoon, Homer Laffoon, submitted a petition to the Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday asking to be given the authority to manage his mother’s estate.

Homer Laffoon and Atlas Tupper, Heche’s son with ex-husband James Tupper, age 13, are listed as her only heirs in the petition.

The estate of Heche is said to be worthless, according to the document. Before anyone has the legal authority to determine the value of the decedent’s assets, that is frequently the case with such initial filings.

Homer Laffoon additionally submitted a petition requesting for his brother’s interests to be represented in court.

Heche’s representative declined to comment on the lawsuit.

On August 5, a vehicle Heche was operating jumped a curb, collided with a Los Angeles residence, and caught fire. She was kept alive on life support for three more days after being pronounced brain dead on August 11 so that her organs might be donated.

Heche, 53, had a steadfast career in film and television for more than three decades. She was one of the biggest film stars of the late 1990s, co-starring with Johnny Depp and Harrison Ford.
