Fame is all about what you showcase, says actor Aditya Deshmukh, who is currently seen in the show Ziddi Dil Maane Na. The actor adds that in today’s world it is so important to keep doing what you love, but also to keep updating yourself.
“I think any actor, whether it is a daily soap actor or reality show actor, gets the same amount of fame and gets the same recognition. It all depends on person to person and also depends on how you market yourself. That is the whole thing. You should know how to market yourself and that’s the whole mantra. As I said you’ve to scale up, you’ve to pull up your socks because every day somebody else is going to beat you. And you have to keep yourself updated about how, and where you can grow further. You shouldn’t look back,” he says.
The actor says that fame also comes when you view things realistically and listen to others. “I think getting famous is all about not looking back. Keep working hard, be true to yourself, your craft, the things coming your way. Don’t argue, just listen to what the people have to say, whether it is your director or the creatives. Just be a good listener. Try to understand. The more you’ll keep yourself low or down, like not having arrogance, the more you’ll go where you want to be. That’s how you’ll become famous,” he says.
Ask him if he is interested in reality shows such as Bigg boss or Khatron Ke Khiladi, and he says, “Right now, I don’t know, I have never given a thought about whether I’ll be going to Bigg Boss or Khatron Ke Khiladi. I’m just happy with what I’m doing currently. So, let’s see if time and life permit. For now, I’m not thinking about it. Given a choice, I would love to do something very adventurous, something action-oriented. But yes, there was a time when I wanted to get into Roadies. I had that in my mind. Let’s see.”
