With all due respect, if you are the face of the channel then you are the favorite of the channel. Yes, everything is there and designed for you and it is completely scripted.

Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik ruled the TV space by taking up a challenging role on Colors’ Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. She played the role of a transgender named Soumya.
Tejasswi Prakash
Bigg Boss 15 winner Tejasswi Prakash is a prominent face of the channel. She has played roles in the shows Sanskaar — Dharohar Apnon Ki, Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur and Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka. She was also seen as a contestant of Khatron Ke Khiladi 10. Every season they use two techniques for actors of colors to gain popularity, first through the makers’ statement that they are strong players (like Nimrit, Sidharth and Simmba) or favouritism like Rashmi, Priyankit, Rubinav, so that the audience sympathises with them but in the end the result is the same, more popularity for colors actors. Which means more TRPs for his future shows.

Also the makers were definitely using reverse psychology for Priyanka and Ankit and it is working on the audience. Gauahar Khan wanted Ankit to win. The same Ankit who didn’t want to join the game himself. Vikas also looked stronger than Ankit but now due to the favouritism of the makers people want him to win. Endemol produces most of the reality shows in india, they surely know how audience mind works seeing all the favouritism Priyanka and Ankit fans increased.
