15th February, Mumbai: Model and actor Priya Soni who has a big ‘crush’ on Bigg Boss 16 winner MC Stan today rubbished reports that the rapper’s win was rigged.
“MC Stan is the real winner of Bigg Boss 16. The winner is decided based on audience votes and popularity. It is crystal clear that MC Stan has the biggest fan following among all the participants of season 16 and he was way ahead of his biggest rival Shiv Thakare,” Priya said.
There was a rumour doing the rounds that on the day of the finale, MC Stan was called out at the third place to be eliminated, but since there was a crowd of MC Stan’s fans outside the sets/compound and the makers did not want a law and order problem, they sent Stan back inside and Priyanka was called out and her name announced at the third place as being eliminated.
Another rumour doing the rounds was that fans of MC Stan had threatened the makers of the show to create a ruckus if Stan was not declared the winner and any other participant was favored by the channel.
Meanwhile, speaking to some news persons in Mumbai on Tuesday, actor Rayya Labib said the so-called 15 million votes that MC Stan got on the Voot App were fake and computer-generated by bots or artificial programs. She also demanded an investigation by Colors to find out how fake votes and members were generated on the system.
“Some fans of MC Stan who are tech savvy have managed to spook and scam the system. The software and Apps were hacked. I think Priyanka Chaudhary deserved to be the winner. It is not about who the winner is, but using technology to generate fake votes, shares, likes and followers should be prohibited by the channel and the makers of Bigg Boss, because in such cases hackers can generate the maximum number of votes,” Rayya claimed.
