Despite being a single entertainment sector, platforms are crucial, particularly for TV. While some performers flatly reject that television is their background, others are just unconcerned with this label and think that talent should be shown on any platform. Shivangi Verma, who plays a character in Control Room, says she is flattered to be referred to as a TV actor.
Why Shivangi Verma feels proud to be a television actor?
She shared her thoughts on this perception, saying, “When they call me a TV actor, which I am, I’m not sure about their perspective or where they’re coming from. I personally don’t see any reason to be unhappy about my status as a TV actor because I’m proud of it.She also brought up the fact that actors become household names and receive immediate recognition from television. “Getting recognition is the best part of working on television,” she stated. Because TV has such a large viewership, you are frequently recognised, which increases the worth of your face. Being involved in TV feels like a success to me since I’m already a fan, and I intend to keep doing it.

She actually loves performing it so much that she doesn’t care for any other medium. “Daily shows are my favourite entertainment, and I watch them more often than web series. I’ve never griped about the difficulties, even though working on a soap opera requires lengthy 12-hour shifts. It’s just part of the work, and we have to cope with it if we wish to participate. I don’t think it’s too hard to handle, but there are always things that need to be managed and worked out with the production crew,” she concluded.
