The Vvaan Trailer Review: Sidharth Malhotra-Tamannaah Bhatia’s Supernatural Saga Looks Intriguing

The trailer of Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s The Vvaan: Force Of The Forest is finally out, and it introduces an intriguing world where folklore, supernatural forces, faith, tradition and development come together. The two-minute-45-second trailer offers a glimpse of the central conflict while keeping several key twists and mysteries hidden. From the mysterious Vvaan Devi forest to Sidharth Malhotra’s connection with it, the trailer creates enough curiosity without revealing the entire story.

The Vvaan Trailer Introduces The Mysterious Bhuttakas

The trailer begins by introducing the Bhuttakas, described as dark forces of nature. According to the legend surrounding the forest, no one who enters it at night comes back alive. The supernatural setup immediately establishes the mysterious world of The Vvaan: Force Of The Forest.

Meanwhile, miles away from the forest, Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia play a married couple living a peaceful life in Mumbai. Their lives take an unexpected turn when they return to their village for Chhath Puja. This journey eventually brings Sidharth’s character closer to the mysterious forest and its secrets.

Vvaan Devi Vs Development Is The Central Conflict

The trailer also establishes an interesting conflict between development and the preservation of nature and tradition. Sunil Grover’s character is seen convincing villagers to give their consent to cut down trees in the Vvaan Devi forest to make way for buildings and development.

However, not everyone is willing to support the idea. For the villagers, the forest is more than just land. It is connected to their faith, traditions and beliefs. This creates a conflict between development and the protection of a sacred space. The film appears to take this familiar issue and combine it with supernatural folklore, giving the central conflict a larger and more mysterious dimension.

Sidharth Malhotra’s Past-Life Connection Adds Mystery

Sidharth’s character soon finds himself at the centre of the supernatural events. Despite being warned, he travels through the forest at night. What follows are glimpses of action, mysterious occurrences and supernatural elements. Sidharth is eventually injured and appears to experience an important revelation. The trailer hints that his connection with the forest may go back to a past life, where he was also involved in protecting it and its traditions. This origin story is easily one of the most intriguing aspects of the trailer. The makers reveal just enough to make audiences curious while keeping the larger mystery intact.

Cast Performances

Sidharth Malhotra gets an opportunity to explore a different kind of character with The Vvaan: Force Of The Forest. He is seen transitioning from an ordinary man caught in an unexpected situation to someone who takes responsibility for protecting the forest and its traditions. The action sequences also give him a more intense screen presence. Tamannaah Bhatia also looks convincing in the glimpses, while the supporting cast includes talented performers such as Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari, Maniesh Paul and Anup Soni.

The Vvaan Trailer Review: The Worldbuilding Is The Biggest Highlight

The strongest aspect of the trailer is its worldbuilding. The folklore surrounding the forest, the Bhuttakas, Vvaan Devi, supernatural occurrences and the past-life angle create an interesting fantasy world. Despite being 2 minutes and 45 seconds long, the trailer does not feel unnecessarily revealing. There are several twists and unanswered questions, which help maintain the mystery. Personally, the trailer has made me intrigued to watch the film. The mystery surrounding the origin story and Sidharth’s connection with the forest is the biggest aspect I am looking forward to.

The Vvaan: Force Of The Forest trailer successfully creates curiosity by bringing together supernatural elements, folklore, action, faith, tradition and the conflict between development and nature. The trailer does not reveal everything, which works in its favour. Sidharth Malhotra looks promising, while the ensemble cast adds further anticipation.

The Vvaan Release Date

Written by Arunabh Kumar and directed by Deepak Mishra, the film is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in association with TVF and 11.11 Production. With its mysterious forest, supernatural mythology and intriguing past-life connection, The Vvaan: Force Of The Forest has certainly managed to build curiosity ahead of its release on 25 September,
