8th May 2023, Mumbai: BLACKPINK’s Lisa has surpassed solo performers like PSY, BTS’ SUGA, and BTS’ J-Hope to become the most streamed K-Pop and Thai artist in YouTube USA Top tracks Chart history with 52.04 million views across all credits and 48.96 million views across all solo tracks. On the YouTube USA Top tracks Chart, her solo tracks LALISA and MONEY have surpassed Jisoo’s FLOWER and Rosé’s On The Ground as the most streamed K-Pop solo songs.
Lisa of BLACKPINK has topped 11 million monthly listeners once more on Spotify, the biggest music streaming service in the world, proving her unmatched appeal and power. 11,086,489 monthly listeners were registered on Lisa’s official Spotify account as of May 6 (Korean time). The fact that Lisa’s Spotify account has 28,626,697 monthly listeners in 2021, making her the solo K-pop artist with the most monthly listeners, is noteworthy. According to Spotify, Lisa is the first and only K-pop solo artist to have more than 20 million monthly listeners.
She also holds the record for having more than 28 million monthly listeners. The total number of unique listeners a singer has recorded over a period of 28 days is the number of monthly listeners on Spotify, which is considered to be a solid factor for judging which musician is now the hottest. Only one listen per individual is recorded, as opposed to streaming.
‘Shoong!’ by BIGBANG’s Taeyang X Lisa also topped the iTunes Namibia Top Songs chart. ‘Shoong!’ is currently ranked first on the iTunes Top Song Chart in the 51st country and area after dominating the chart in a total of 50 countries and regions on April 4. The song “Shoong!” by Taeyang X Lisa is now rated 151 on the “Global Spotify Daily Chart.” The R&B trap song “Shoong!” has a catchy tune and a current hip-hop beat. BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s sensual rapping contrasts Taeyang’s upbeat vocals to create a driving effect for the listeners. The chorus’s engine sound and unmatched performance enhance the song’s uniqueness.
