Janhvi Kapoor is receiving praise for her performance in her latest film, Mili. On Sunday, the actor appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show with his father, Boney Kapoor, to promote the film. While Kapil made the most jokes in the episode, it was endearing to see Janhvi’s bond with her father.
During the show, Boney Kapoor discussed how he believes his daughter is growing up too quickly. He used his elder daughter Anshula as an example, saying that she suddenly grew to be as tall as him. Khushi, whom he affectionately refers to as “Coochie,” on the other hand, is about to make her debut.
Sridevi was worried when Janhvi told her parents she wanted to be an actress, according to Janhvi. Janhvi, he said, was very attached to her late mother and needed her every morning and even while sleeping. “Janhvi also wanted to go to Los Angeles to study acting, which worried my wife a lot.” She was concerned about how she would survive on her own. “I told her that each and every child needs to be self sufficient at a certain point in their lives, and it was her period,” he said in Hindi.
Janhvi joked that while she did well alone, she learned nothing. Boney Kapoor then revealed that she still does not keep her room clean or even put the cap on her toothpaste. He added that he’s grateful she flushes the toilet herself. As Janhvi screamed in disgust, Boney proceeded to reveal information about his younger brother, Anil Kapoor. He explained that they’d know Anil was in the bathroom because he’d either forget to turn off the geyser or not flush the toilet.
Later, when Kapil Sharma congratulated Janhvi Kapoor on her success, she complained to him about how he had never given her dates before. She stated that whenever her film is released, she first chooses her outfit for The Kapil Sharma Show. However, he had never given her the opportunity to appear on the show before.
Kapil Sharma will also discuss his friendship with Boney Kapoor, who made his acting debut in “It’s My Life.” He went on to say that he’s a very indulgent producer because Kapil spent so much time in Bangkok after the shoot was finished. He then questioned the filmmaker about why it took so long to make a film for Janhvi.
“Arjun and Janvhi dono ko pehle bahar kaam karne ka mauka diya maine” (I first gave Janhvi and Arjun the opportunity to work in other people’s productions). “I told them that once they are properly trained, I will take them,” he said, as Janhvi responded that he didn’t want to take any chances. Boney Kapoor defended himself, saying that he sometimes feels he puts in extra money and effort when working with friends and family, which backfires on him. As a result, he wanted to be certain before filming them.
